It's a good idea, every so often, to be reminded of where you come from. Knowing your roots often helps explain some of your own idiosyncrasies.
Running off to Canada as quick as I could after returning to Norway from India might have been a crazy idea (don't try this at home, boys and girls!) but it certainly was a fun few days - well worth all the jet lag & confusion!
Good ole western BC was blooming with spring on it's way, but the best part of my visit was seeing my grandpa celebrate 80 years of blooming!
