Random Thoughts

I have put Texas behind me, sad only to leave new found friends. The thing I have learned in all my travels is that you never know when you will bump into someone again.

On an important note, I did count the boots before I left, and discovered that there are 40 boots, about 4 of which are children's size. Here is one of my favorites:


A car full of us took a road trip to Mississippi and the nationalities of those in the picture below are (from left to right): Canadian(with a Norwegian heart), TCK (= third culture kid…with pieces of Africa, Latin America and Korea), England & South African. Needless to say, we had a fun time. No one liked boiled peanuts when I made them try some, but it was at a gas station and they were not tasty at all. Oh well.

So, now I am leaving the Spring that had just appeared in Texas and traveling backwards–north-over. That is, until I leave all this chilly weather behind and move to a loand of permanent sweat :-)
