I am enjoying begin home after a nice trip to the west coast. I wanted to share one last snowboarding thought... it's actually not my own thought, but rather Eili's (the friend that I went snowboarding with). It is a theory for boarding that can be used to apply to our daily lives.
She says... (roughly translated) "If you have ridden a day without wiping out, you have had an unfortunate day because you have ridden safely... you haven't taken any chances."
How many times did I laugh as I wiped out in the snow, got back up again and sailed down the mountain? If only life were that simple sometimes.
